The SolarKing V4 solar whirlybird is a solar-powered roof ventilation fan. It uses its own solar panel and motor to extract air from the roof cavity while replacement air enters through suitable vents or openings.
Unlike a wind-driven whirlybird, it does not rely on wind to turn. Operation depends on available power and the model’s temperature settings.

Temperature Control and Wireless Options
The V4 uses a 42W solar panel and a 35W brushless DC motor. The Standard model normally starts above approximately 25°C when sufficient power is available. Operation depends on conditions rather than the season alone.

Optional backup power is sold separately. Normal operating controls still apply when backup power is connected.
