hi can you tell me how heavy the dish & finder is please. Also I'll need a 10m cable
The MiniMax dish in the carry bag is just under 5 KG.
Can I use this satellite dish with Foxtel box I have at home in my Rv what would I need and how much? Thanks
Yes, you can use this system with your Foxtel box providing it is a satellite decoder and not a cable version. If you have a dish on your roof then you have the correct decoder. If your Foxtel decoder is an IQ version (able to record) then you will require a twin output LNB, twin cables and a twin wallplate through your van. It would be best to call us to assist you.
Hi. How big is the dish. Wold it be able to store in the caravan.
The Minimax dish is 75 x 85 cm (elliptical) but does fold down flat into its included carry bag. You could possibly store it under the bed or on the bed as many do.
Hello, what is the infra Red sensor for?
The sensor allows you to hide the box in a cupboard or behind a TV and still operate the remote control.
It plugs into the back of the box and then the eye is stuck to a location were you want to point the remote to.
I take it that this systemis suitable for home or mobile,am I correct?
Hello you could use this for home but it is more suited for caravan use.
Hi I am looking into a satellite tvs system for our van .Wondering if there is a payment plan available ? As I don't need it straight away Thanks
Hello Craig, late reply due to the Cleveland Show but good to catch up at the show anyway. Thanks for purchasing from us and glad you have it all up and running. For the sake of others, We can do layby and we're not strict on the payment amounts or duration.
Hi,can I buy a dish alone? Regards Ron
Yes, all our dishes can be purchased on their own. See the link here:
is the $250.00 v4 mini max 10700 satplus satellite system a full complete system and ready to give me free to air tv reception through out Australia
No the $250 deal is essentially the dish only but with an included bonus of a 10m cable and a very basic satellite finder. You would be best to upgrade the basic meter to more professional meter such as our SK3200. You would also need to add on a VAST box to access the free to air channels. Also decide if you require the wallplate to go through the caravan wall, internal cables, 12V lead etc.
Hi do you need to subscribe to anything or is this just a plug and play item? Is there any limitations on what this dish can do? e.g. under a tree
Hi, no subscription required but you do need to register the included smartcard at www.mysattv.com.au
There are no fees to register. Yes, if a tree was in the way of the dish then this would be an issue and you would not get any signal.
