HUMAX HDR 1003S Twin Tuner VAST Certified Set Top Box - PVR Ready

Living in a poor TV reception area or already have the old Aurora satellite service or want to upgrade to a superior, twin tuner decoder capable of recording 2 channels at the same time?  Why not consider changing over to VAST?  In doing so, you'll get access to the full range of digital TV programs outlined below.  Australia's premium VAST set top box - the prestigious Humax brand is certified for VAST and the quality is remarkable.  When you unpack the unit from its environmentally sensible packaging, you'll notice the build quality straight away.  The brushed aluminium front hides the vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) so much so that you'd swear it has no display at all!  Yet, when powered up, the VFD appears to shine through the aluminium - a great touch.  As the unit supports full HD video resolution, connection to your TV should be via HDMI.  After startup, the wizard will guide you through the setup process and if your satellite dish is already aligned (with a 10.700GHz LNB), it will scan in all channels.  Now all that is required is to register your smartcard (included with the HDR-1003S) - you'll find it located behind the flap on the right hand side.

We have 2 options for you to choose from:

      1. Purchase the Humax 1003S without hard drive and use it as a fully functional single tuner decoder without the recording features.  We'll also include the drive tray so you can add on your own 2.5" SATA drive or purchase one from us at a later stage.  This option will cost $319.00.
      2. Purchase the Humax 1003S with premium brand 1TB (1000GB) SATA drive and enjoy countless hours of recording all year round. Dual recording ability and loads of storage make this a popular option costing $429.00.
