We have a Vast box and satellite system which we purchased from you in 2013. We now have a Foxtel IQ2 setup at home. To use the Foxtel box while travelling it seems that we need to have an LNB that has two cables coming from it. We would also like to be able to flick a switch so that we can alternate, (or use both at the same time ideally) between the Vast box and the Foxtel Pay box. Is this possible? And what would you recommend. We are now living in Millicent, South Australia, so if you need to quote any costs could you please include postage costs? Regards, Kathy
To run a Foxtel IQ you need a twin LNB. You can then feed it into a 4 way multiswitch and run the Foxtel and VAST at the same time. There is a section for multiswitches and LNBs on our website and it will also calculate freight for you.
You may also need a twin wallplate and more cable as you will now need to run two cables from your dish.
Is this LNB suitable to be used with the Foxtel IQ3 on the satellite dish package I bought from you last year? Is there anything I would need besides cables?
Yes. That is all you need. Works fine with an IQ3. You might possibly also need a twin wallplate now, to get the two cables through the van wall.
Is this LNB calibrated for mobile use? Do you also have double cable and through wall connectors (connectors/plugs that will fit through the wall of a caravan)?
Hello, these LNB's have the LNB skew marks moulded into them but to make them easier to understand we do put a sticker on them with the +30 and -30 skew marks. Also, yes we do sell the twin cable and eziplate through the wall fittings.
When using the twin output lnb got Foxtel iq3, which output do I use for finding satellite with my inline meter?
Both ports are identical. You can use either.
