Optus Aurora Tuning Frequencies.

 

This page was last updated on 17th May 2006.  Optus Aurora's last frequency change occurred on the 10th August 2005.  This page will keep you up to date with any recent and future updates to the Aurora tuning frequencies.

Your dish must be aligned to the Optus C1 satellite prior to scanning on your receiver/decoder.

You have two options:

1. Enter the manual scan screen of your decoder and enter the following:

Frequency: 12407 MHz
Polarity: Vertical
Symbol rate: 30000 MB/s
Code rate or FEC 2/3
Network search: ON

The above procedure will scan the 12407 frequency and associated frequencies (Network Identity table) as set by Optus Aurora.

All channels will now be loaded into your decoder.

You can exit all menus.

OR

2. Enter the manual scan screen of your decoder and enter the following:

Frequency 12407 MHz
Polarity: Vertical
Symbol rate: 30000 MB/s
Code rate or FEC 2/3
Network search: OFF

Press OK or ENTER to scan 12407

Now scan the following:

Frequency 12527 MHz
Polarity: Vertical
Symbol rate: 30000 MB/s
Code rate or FEC 3/4
Network search: OFF

Now scan the following:

Frequency 12728 MHz
Polarity: Vertical
Symbol rate: 24450 MB/s
Code rate or FEC 1/2
Network search: OFF

 

All channels will now be loaded into your decoder.

You can exit all menus.
