Excellent unit for both C and KU band reception (does not support VAST).  With component output, blind scan, digital audio, universal card reader, easy to use menu and now with USB that supports JPEG viewing, mp3 playback, firmware upgrades AND PVR RECORDING, it would be hard to find another standard definition satellite decoder that compares in features.  So now you can insert a USB memory stick or external USB hard drive and record straight to disk.  Top value considering all of the features.

Component video has rapidly become an industry standard connection and is found on most LCD or plasma televisions sold today. The upgrade from composite video (single yellow RCA connector) to component video (red, green and  blue RCA connectors) offers a visible improvement in picture quality, especially on larger television screens.
