The Powertech H to H motor is powered by your satellite decoder via a single coaxial cable eliminating the need to run extra cables.  Almost all satellite receivers these days support the motorized function )called DISEQC 1.2) and using your existing remoter control, you'll be able to move the motor East and West.  Providing the dish is tracking the satellite arc known as the Clarke Belt, you'll be able to lock onto each satellite and store the position in the decoders memory.  When setup correctly you'll be able to change channels and the motor will move the dish to the correct position.
