The Phoenix VBox II sits aside your satellite decoder and interfaces to it via a short coaxial lead.  Actuator cable connects the positioner to the actuator motor.  Low voltage cable is required for this.  When setup correctly you'll be able to change the channel on your decoder and this will in turn send a command to the positioner to move the dish to the correct satellite.  We also have a kit within this category that includes everything required to motorize your existing C Band prime focus dish.  Save money too !
