Alden fully automatic satellite dish. Manufactured in Europe, the Alden system represents excellent value for money as it is the first fully automatic system in Australia with a price tag less than $4K.  The Alden comes pre-programmed for all of the Australian satellites and is compatible with Austar (not MyStar), Foxtel (not IQ), VAST free to air and Aurora free to air.  The system is easily installed by the average handyman but we can arrange installation if required for an additional cost.  Now you can receive perfect clear TV reception anywhere in Australia.  From Sydney to Uluru, no matter where you travel, the Alden will provide you with TV where there is no terrestrial TV reception available. 

The Alden Auto system is operated from insde the van and comes complete with external auto dish system, wiring loom, cable entry cover and control unit (SSC).  The SSC is generally mounted in a cupboard within reach.  With the flick of a switch, the Alden will automatically search for the desired satellite and lock on to that satellite within a few minutes (quicker if you are in the same location when you last used it).  Fitted with an 80cm satellite dish, the Alden will provide adequate reception of signal throughout Australia.  You'll never use an antenna again. 

The Alden system is 12 Volt and can be hard wired or simply powered through a cigarette socket.  To complete this system, a satellite decoder such as free to air or pay TV needs to be connected to the SSC.  This is not supplied as standard with the Alden and needs to be supplied by yourself or by us.  We are offering 3 purchase options:

• Purchase the Alden and supply your own pay TV or free to air satellite decoder such as Aurora or VAST
• Purchase the Alden supplied with VAST (free to air, all digital channels) satellite decoder
• Purchase the Alden supplied with VAST (free to air, all digital channels) satellite decoder as well as 180 watt pure sine wave inverter so you can run the VAST decoder from 240VAC as well as 12VDC

The VAST satellite decoder is a 240V AC powered unit and will require 240 V either from a caravan park power source, generator or inverter.
