The channels available on either satellite are outlined below.
Optus D1
This satellite broadcasts ABC1, ABC2, SBS and SBS World News channels. This is particularly useful for people who can receive their commercial channels from a traditional antenna but suffer poor reception on ABC and SBS.
Optus D2
This satellite broadcasts various International language programs as well as a large range of Christian TV programs. International channels are:
- Italian TV Network, ERT (Greek), Kurdistan TV, Satellite Community TV (mixed), BVN (Dutch), TRT International (Turkish), NHK World (Japan), CGN TV (Korea), Aghapy TV (Arabic), Alforat , Abu Dhabi and Oman TV (Arabic), Thai TV Global, TVR (Romanian), Duna TV (Hungarian), Russia Today and Press TV (English).
The Christian line up of channels are:
- Supreme Master TV, Apostolic Oneness Network, TBN Asia Pacific, JCTV, The Church Channel, Smile of a Child, God TV, Daystar, Inspiration Network, EWTN, 3ABN, Hope Channel, Dhamma Media channel. Click on the image for more information.
