Now you can have digital TV delivered via satellite on your vessel as you are motoring, anchored or moored. The TrackSat Marine sat TV system is supplied with the coaxial and electrical cable, electronic control box and easy DIY installation manual. Also includes a BONUS DIGITAL SATELLITE FINDER.

For around 10% of the price of the large dome style, gyro tracking systems, you can purchase a TrackSat and get reception 90% of the time. Imagine being able to watch crystal clear news, sports and movies as well as weather updates while motoring along. TrackSat TV is a new, affordable, Australian made dish control system that can utilise any satellite service. It is specially developed to be a low cost, highly reliable system.

TrackSat TV is designed to track the satellite position in conditions that are reasonable for viewing television. As the sea or wind increases beyond the design threshold, the system will continue to track the satellite but may momentarily lose track in elevation more frequently resulting in loss of signal until conditions settle. It will not maintain signal in extreme sea conditions. The TrackSat system will automatically rotate and track the satellite as the boat changes course.

A digital readout tells you when and where (+/- 2°) the satellite is found. The microcontroller software receives precise input (+/- 1/4°) of the azimuth direction of the satellite from solid state circuit boards and drives a digitally controlled motor to maintain the satellite dish position.

TrackSat TV enables quality, crystal clear viewing of satellite TV programs on a moving vessel and remembers where you first found the satellite signal. Everyday thereafter, it will return to the exact position when switched on within 20 seconds.

Why is Tracksat TV the lowest priced auto tracking unit on the market?

Other units allow the user to watch TV regardless of how wild the wind or sea. These gyro based systems will track under adverse conditions and do so by employing expensive equipment with all the search and seek functions of a 3D tracking mechanism. These units can cost up to $40,000 plus installation. The TrackSat TV system on the other hand is designed with the idea that the user can watch TV mostly while anchored or slowly motoring. The result is that the TrackSat TV system has 90% of the utility of the expensive systems but only a fraction of the cost. The TrackSat TV system is the lowest cost satellite TV tracking system in Australia today. Recommended for larger cruisers, catamarans and yachts.

What channels are available on satellite using the TrackSat TV?

The TrackSat TV system can be supplied as a standalone unit so you can connect your pay TV satellite decoder box and watch the channels you subscribe to while at sea. Alternatively, we can supply the unit with our own satellite decoder and smartcard so you can watch ABC in 5 state time zones, SBS in 4 state time zones, Seven Central (channel 7 from Townsville) and Imparja TV (channel 9 from Central Australia).
