This satbeeper is a basic little device that connects inline between the satellite decoder and the dish LNB. As you rotate the dish across the path of a satellite, the tone will increase in pitch. Satellites carrying lots of transponders such as Optus C1 and Intelsat8 are fairly easy to locate using this tool. We have had good feedback from people who have bought them and for the price, they're even worth having as a backup to your existing meter.

This meter can be used for aligning to C band and KU band. It features polarity switch, sensitive signal strength indicator, built in rechargeable battery, 0 and 22KHz switch, audible tone and gain sensitivity control. The SF3000 Digital Satellite Finder Meter is an innovative professional satellite identification and alignment meter. This device is easy to operate. The signal strength and picture quality (BER) meter will speed up and improve your dish installation.

The unit can be programmed for any satellite and you can enter unique transponder frequencies, symbol rate and orbital location. The unit will indicate 'OK' when locked and Signal Power, carrier to noise and BER will be displayed making it easy to peak the dish.
It communicates with the satellite's digital transmissions with "Unique Satellite Information Data" (USID).
